Bid Pack 1 Earth Work project contains the following:
Excavation and backfilling Project Hoarding Transplantation of the existing Palm trees Demolition of existing utilities, buildings, roads, services etc
1) Location:
The whole site of Kuwait University main campus located in the East side of the University Avenue.
2) General:
- Excavation and Backfilling: Bid Package 1 works include cleaning, stripping, excavation and backfilling to provide a required level to construction. Suitable excavated soil will be stockpiled for others use. The objective of this package is to prepare the site for timely commencement of other packages.
- Hoarding: 8m high project hoarding will be installed along approx. 4.80 Km length around the perimeter of the campus. The Hoarding show digital images of the various projects within the main campus: Colleges, Sports and recreational facilities, Admin and Academic facilities, and Infrastructure and landscape development.
- Transplantation of the existing Palm trees: To facilitate construction, the existing palm trees on the Main campus will be relocated in the Nursery Area (South of the City).
