Bid Pack 4A - Civil Works for Utility Service Tunnel (West) & Gravity Lines contains the following building and services:
Bid Pack 4A – contains the Civil Works for Utility Service Tunnel (West) & the Gravity Lines
1) Location:
The site of Kuwait University main campus located in the East side of the University Avenue.
2) General:
Bid Pack 4A consists of underground main and branch tunnels civil works with an approximate length of 4.5 km for the main tunnel and 3.5 km for the branch tunnels with an average depth of 10 m approximately. The branch tunnels links the main tunnel to shelters, to colleges and to CUPs’ buildings. These tunnels will accommodate electromechanical utilities works which are part of BP3A package.
Bid Pack 4A includes also the construction of two gravity lines (sanitary and storm water pipelines) beneath the Oasis to connect the campus with the external MPW main lines.
